I am a self-taught, emerging artist from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. While my style is always evolving, my use of texture and color creates a distinct abstract style that is a continued theme throughout my paintings.  Inspiration comes in many forms, from deep emotion to simply a shape or a color.  Realizing a need for an escape from my everyday life in the world of Finance, I find solace and strength in my art.

I also began the art of glass fusing in February 2009 after taking a class at a local studio. I now work from my home studio and am constantly challenged by creating fused glass pieces inspired by eye catching color combinations and I’m always experimenting with different techniques to create unique and interesting designs. Each piece of fused glass is individually handcrafted and although some pieces may be similar in color and size, no two pieces are exactly alike. I would describe my jewelry as wearable works of art.
